Matcha

Discover Premium Japanese Matcha

Matcha is a finely ground Japanese green tea appreciated for its vivid colour, smooth flavour and distinctive preparation. Unlike traditionally infused tea, matcha is whisked directly into water, allowing the whole tea leaf to become part of the drink.

Our matcha collection features authentic Japanese tea sourced from the renowned tea-growing region of Uji in Kyoto. This historic region is internationally recognised for producing some of Japan’s most refined green teas.

Ceremonial and Culinary Matcha

Choose the matcha best suited to how you intend to enjoy it:

  • Ceremonial matcha offers a refined, balanced taste for whisking traditionally with hot water.
  • Matcha for lattes pairs well with milk while retaining its characteristic tea flavour.
  • Culinary matcha is ideal for desserts, baking, smoothies and recipes.

Each product page should clearly indicate its recommended preparation and use.

How to Prepare Matcha

Sift the matcha into a bowl, add hot water at approximately 70–80°C and whisk briskly until a fine layer of foam develops. Avoid boiling water, which can make its delicate flavour more bitter.

For a matcha latte, prepare a concentrated matcha base before adding warm or cold milk.
