This variety is of French origin and produced exclusively in the Bouches du Rhône. Its fruits are mainly used for the production of black olives and are appreciated for their particularly sweet flavor. For the manufacture of oil, Grossane gives a low yield with a finely flavored juice.
Grossane oil is without bitterness or ardor with very buttery and sweet almond aromas. Sweet and harmonious fruity.
